Join Our Team

Aviosense is a deep-tech aerospace startup developing intelligent airborne remote sensing systems for autonomous and remotely piloted aircraft.

Our mission is to empower next-generation airborne platforms with advanced sensing capabilities that enhance situational awareness, operational effectiveness, and decision-making in demanding and dynamic environments.

We develop high-performance sensing systems that combine RF/antenna engineering, advanced electronics and signal processing, including AI-assisted methods, to enable reliable detection, tracking, and classification of objects in complex operational scenarios. Our technologies are designed to support mission-critical operations and provide a technological advantage to airborne platforms operating in both civil and defence domains.

As an emerging startup, Aviosense is building a focused, high-caliber engineering team to develop next-generation airborne sensing technologies.

  • Design the frontend and backend architecture for the SpecFus GCS application, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integration with onboard radar APIs
  • Build robust frameworks to ingest, synchronize, and overlay multi-sensor data streams (radar imagery, telemetry, target tracks, and optical feeds) onto geographic maps in real time
  • Optimize the rendering of high-volume geographic and tactical data, such as large GeoTIFF imagery, target tracks, and coherent change detection (CCD) maps
  • Implement secure role-based access controls, user authentication workflows, and robust communication protocols between the GCS and the airborne radar payload
  • Guide the development team, establish clean coding standards, and perform code reviews to guarantee software stability under high-stress operational environments

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer, with a proven track record of shipping complex desktop or web-based applications
  • Proficiency in modern frontend/backend languages and frameworks suited for high-performance map rendering and data streaming (e.g., C++, Python, Rust, Go, or modern TypeScript frameworks)
  • Deep-tech startup attitude — practical, direct, and ready to solve complex physical and logical engineering problems

Nice to Have
